Were were the first Russian carrier to receive ISO 9001 quality system certificates for providing data and voice services.

 

In 1998 we were nominated the best national telecom carrier by Goskomsvyaz of Russia (now The Ministry of Post Telecommunications and Informatization of Russian Federation) at the annual national competition on quality of services in telecommunications. In a survey by the "Expert" magazine and "Expert RA" rating agency Equant Russia was named a member of Top-50 Club (composed of the most respected foreign companies in Russian business society, December 1999).

• Deployment of the multiservice corporate network within Russia for Central Bank of Russia, including: SDH & ATM networks, corporate data network for National Settlement System, Banking System Supervision, Financial Trade & Information System, corporate voice & fax network, data network for Interbanking Exchange and supervision for commercial banks activity.
• Equant Russia has been named by the International Ice Hockey Federation an "Official Partner" of the World Ice Hockey Championship 2000 as the telecommunications provider for the April 28-May 14 competition at the St. Petersburg Palace of Sports. The company won the contract for telecommunications part of new Palace of Sport construction, including supply, delivery and installation of PABX & LAN equipment, structured cabling system, press-center equipment, TV broadcasting system and other.
